The  Mission  of  the  FSD

The Forum of Strategic Dialogue (FSD) facilitates high-level strategic dialogues between Europe and Israel. The FSD provides a unique platform for "Track 1.5" diplomacy, beyond the constraints of formal intergovernmental relations. The FSD fosters open communication that encourages participants—senior governmental officials and leading experts—to probe and develop new ideas  and enhance relations-building and bilateral cooperation.

It is very important to sit together and discuss the key strategic issues openly, while understanding that there are diverse views in both Israel and Poland. By providing this forum, the FSD contributes significantly to Poland-Israel cooperation and friendship.

Brig. Gen. (res.) Jacob Nagel, former Acting Head of     Israel's National Security Council

Increased understanding of Israel has been one of the biggest gains for me. My views of Israelis have evolved and matured. Going into each year with a fresh perspective on Israel's priorities informs much of my regional analysis and engagement.
